This Mother’s Day, Matthew and I (Tara) learned that we will have a new addition to our family in January of 2009. Of course we are thrilled with the news. However, we are a little apprehensive about how it will be to have a new baby in Brasil. We ask special prayers that God’s hand of protection will be on our family during this time. Furthermore, we ask for you to pray that we will have a safe, uneventful pregnancy and that all of the details that have to come together before this new little life comes into the world. We are excited to see how God will use this to bring joy to our lives and more people into His kingdom.

Madeline's class at JUMCDC just had their Pre-K graduation. It's amazing how time flies. There is a picture on my blog of the class on their graduation picnic to the park. Just scroll down a few posts.
I hope Lydia is doing well. I just reminded Madeline of Lydia and she was asking, where is she mommy, and is she coming back? I told her she was far far away and she said, oh....mommy, I miss Lydia. So it's very cool even after all this time my little Madeline still misses her.
I hope the pregnancy is a smooth one. Please keep updated and post some pics too:)
