"...I wanted to write and give you a quick update on the latest with my visa situation. The IMB called me and another Journeygirl that is going to Brazil to tell us that h they had been talking and told us that if we didn't receive our visas by the first couple of weeks of January, they wanted to send us together to another job in another South American country. We have since received the deadline date of January 8th. There has been a whirlwind of emotions as I feel my heart is already so tightly connected to Brazil and the people there as I have been daily praying for them. I have contacted our Brazilian attorney and she is in the process of talking to the consulate on my behalf, doing her best to get answers for me. It has just happened so quickly! Please pray that I get my visa by January 8th. This has been a major lesson for me in trusting the Lord. I am willing to go wherever He leads, but how badly I want to be in Brazil. I am having to remember that God is sovereign and His will and timing are perfect"
