While I was reading Matthew 15, I am reminded of
the fact that I am in desperate need of a continual heart change. Yes, I am a Christian and I know that my sins
are forgiven. Yes, I am a new creation.
Yet, I still live in a fallen world and deal with my fallen nature was
continues to try to take control. If I
am not careful, if I do not die to self, daily (Luke 9:23) then I will be
another Christian who is weak. And so,
it is my prayer to be one who is not conformed to this world but transformed by
my relationship with Christ (Romans 12:1-2).
